Tameside Pupil Referral Service is the provision for pupils who live in Tameside and are not currently able to access mainstream education for a variety of reasons linked to their Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Most pupils have been permanently excluded from one or more school due to the behaviours demonstrated as a result of these needs .
We are based on 2 sites across Tameside, and provide places on both full and part time basis for pupils in key stage 2, 3 and 4.
We also have a small cohort of pupils in key stage 4 whose Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) name the TPRS as their school as a result of their SEMH needs. These pupils have not been permanently excluded.
